Problem

Inter-datacenter interconnects over dark fiber or DWDM carry critical data in cleartext over physically accessible links. Physical interception (optical tap) is undetectable and commonplace in peering points.

CryptOps Solution

AllEyes Resilient in transparent Layer 2 mode inserts inline without modifying any network configuration. It bit-by-bit encrypts the optical flow with AES-256-GCM, adds less than 5 µs of latency, and is fully invisible to network equipment on both sides.
